If I don't remember wrong, I think that MSDOS 3.X doesn't support the switchar-call anymore. Since I have not followed this discussion, this has probably been said fifteen times (my usual luck...). I dont know what the switchar.exe program does, but if it calls MSDOS, it will fail for MSDOS 3.X!
