   I have three questions.

   1) Is the drive likely to fail in the near future?

   2) Is there a folk fix for the noise problem?  (i.e. one which would not
      require a clean room?

   3) Does anyone out there know the access time (e.g. 28 ms, 70 ms) for  
      the drive?

     I know I should just yank the thing out and replace it with a more
modern drive, but I'm on a tight budget and I'd like to postpone this for as
long as possible.
