Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the specification for this? Please reply via e-mail; I don't read this group. Thanks. If you call HP, they will send you, free of charge, a document describing the font naming conventions and formats for downloadable fonts for the LaserJet & LJ II printers. I got this doc before the DeskJet, IIP, or III came out, but I'd assume it has been updated to include these. Sorry, I don't have the phone number in front of me, but it was their 800 technical or customer support number -- ask for the Font Description package, I think. They were knowledgeable when I called, i.e. I called asking "Do you have anything you can send me about font formats?" and they said, "Oh, you mean our document. It's on the way." And less than a week later, it arrived. Not that great a package, but it was helpful in patching up a few fonts manually and for fixing a font whose headers exploded. ~~~Steve -- /************************************************* * *Steven Abrams abrams@cs.columbia.edu * **************************************************/ #include #include
