It should run UNIX, be at least a quarter as fast as a SPARC, and have (or be expandable to) more than 4 Meg. It needs to run X11. Where are all the Sun3's, old IBM PC/RT's, and similarly obsolete computers that universities bought by the hundreds two years ago and are now replacing with the current generation?
