Intel has announced the 20MHz 80386SX, and also a version of their cache controller for the SX. I saw a claim somewhere that the cached SX at 20MHz had performance roughly equal to an uncached 20MHz 386DX. I don't think the memory speed of the 386DX system was mentioned, though. I would make sure that the system you mention actually uses the 20MHz part and not a pushed 16MHz chip.
