Word 4 mangles drawings when they are copied or cut to the clipboard.
This affects Expressionist equations and MacDraw documents, among
other things.

Microsoft recently produced a new version of Word (4.0a) that is
supposed to fix the problem.  Call Microsoft and get the upgrade if
you have problems like this.

Expressionist can also produce TeX source code from an equation.
