Enough people have expressed interest in the location for the Sound Input
Device plans that I have decided to post them.  They are in the
Info-mac/sounds/programs/sid.hqx file at the SUMEX-aim.stanford.edu
FTP location.  

(for those FTP novices, from unix simply type ftp SUMEX-aim.stanford.edu
and use anonymous for the user name and your user id for the password.  
Remember to treat these computers with respect since the various
system operators are allowing access out of the goodness of their hearts.
Also- try to limit access to night time hours _for that particular site_.)
