NCSA Telnet can now reach any host, even those not in the config.tel file. A problem remains with tn3270. It will connect to the host, but nothing comes back, except (according to the TCPDebug dump) some five-byte packets. The effect is that the system wait indicator goes on and stays on. RESET (cmd-R) clears it, but any other key just puts it back. This happens at BLOCK sizes from 100 to 4000 and in or out of MultiFinder. The non-MacTCP version continues to work perfectly. Any ideas? Thanks to the several people who offered suggestions, config.tel files, etc. Peter DiCamillo, are you getting my e-mail? Paul Suhler Hybrid Dataflow Systems
