I believe these are 6502's used as a core in a chip that has RAM/ROM/etc.. making them single chip I/O processors. I believe the 6502's run at a fairly high clock rate (10 Mhz comes to mind) which would make them fairly powerful I/O processors indeed. Steven Miller
