As one who owns an external 106Mb drive made by CSC (more or less reincarnated from my Fujitsu 2243A which I bought from them as a PC drive & then later had them convert to a Mac external SCSI drive) I am concerned with tales about various external drives not working with the IIci. Will this also be true of the IIfx? What I will probably do is wait until our department orders a IIfx, bring in my external drive & give it a try, but others will probably not have the resources to do this. Any comments? If the rules will be the same for the IIci & the IIfx in regards to external SCSI drives, I guess I could get a jump on things by bringing my external drive in & testing it with a IIci. Any comments? ========================================================================== Bob DeBula | Internet: bobd@hpuxa.ircc.ohio-state.edu The Ohio State University | Disclaimer: These are my views, not the U's Davros sez: When my Daleks compute they use X-TER-MI-NALS!
