Ans : Nothing that i know of (ie in the $70 range of current Mac II memory) is compatable, in fact since Apple just came out with the standard themselves, it is unlikely that any SIMM out there now will be compatable... Third partys have begun to make the SIMMS and i believe they will sell for about $100 per meg... i dont have company names, but i heard AT LEAST one has them almost ready to ship... 2) Also someone asked about the Video Cards... Ans : I know that someone (again my referances are shaky right now) is making a third party board for the new video cards, but I think that it is an external plug in box. That is, it plugs into the video card from the back of your Mac... oh yea, on more thing, for the fx, the max memory that it can have is listed as 128Mb of RAM, using the 16 bit RAM chips IBM (groan) is developing currently. Looks like Apple put together a winner! I dont speak for Apple, God, or even myself....
