My drive fell into that category, and it is being replaced sometime this week; the dealer says that it will most likely be a Quantum. The problem with the Seagates is (I am told) the same problem as the Quantums had -- the sticking problem. I noticed that the drive controller board has no socketed IC's -- it's all surface mount, so I guess that they would be unable to do an easy ROM upgrade as Quantum did. The whole unit has to be shipped back to Apple.
