And some more, I put one in a few weeks ago (FINALLY! sez my aggrieved 
wife). It works, it's easy to put in. Funny thing, I have a hearing loss, 
mostly at higher frequencies. The new fan is louder to me, but to everyone 
else it is quieter. I hear the lower frequency that it hums at better than 
the high pitched whine of the original...oh well, my wife is happy...
