I'm in the market for a scanner and was planning to get an Apple 
scanner because of favourable discount pricing, but have learned that 
I can get an HP ScanJet for about the same. Anyone have any comments 
on the relative merits of these beasts? Seems the ScanJet should be a 
good buy since it's an 8 bit scanner, but is there some problem I 
don't know about?
