What would it hurt to keep the upgrade policy in force? If now my
only choice is to buy the whole thing again then I'm not going to 
do it. Apple gets no money. If the upgrade policy is still in force
when I can afford or have a real need then I will pay for it Apple gets
lots of money.

 xx% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

P.S. MacTech Quarterly is selling TML Pascal II ver3.0 with mpw 3.0
for a hundred bucks.
