Message-ID: <17972@oregon.uoregon.edu> Date: 23 Mar 90 17:19:14 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: University of Oregon Lines: 18 I was delighted to find that the NeXT xterm client distributed with the X11 server supports VT100 emulation -- sort of. For example, I was positively ecstatic to find out that the vast majority of the keypad keys send correct VT100 escape sequences -- huzzah! My initial elation was quickly tempered when I found I couldn't generate PF1-PF4 or KP, -- all of the rest of the keys are there just fine, but those five keys are completely unavailable as far as I can tell. I've tried just about every control, shift, alt, command anything sequence I can think of, to no avail. If anyone can share a NeXT xterm trick that will let me get the rest of those keys functional, I promise you a beer (or Perier or ...) the next time you're in Oregon or we cross paths on the conference circuit...
