Message-ID: <1626@engage.enet.dec.com> Date: 29 Mar 90 14:50:03 GMT Sender: news@engage.enet.dec.com Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 16 Keywords:A/UX I recently got MicroNet 170M hard disk which uses CDC WREN disk and formatted the disk for A/UX Root system to set up complete A/UX system on it. Next I mkfs and fsck both Root(c5d0s0) and swap(c5d0s1) and copied all file systems. I could boot A/UX from the drive and seemed working, but when I compiled symple c program and ran it I got error message - memory fault. When I booted from original A/UX system on Quantum 80 and ran the program it worked fine, no error message! I think there is something wrong on my A/UX system. Have anyone got the same experience? Please tell how to port A/UX system to the third vendor hard disks! Thank you in advance Akihiro Furuta Digital Equipment Corp. Japan
