I have rn patchlevel 44 and my system is ix/386 2.0.2.  I have read
news about fixing rn for ix/386 and I tried to follow this fix but 
I am getting problem with end of line marks.  It goes linefeed but it
stays on same column instead of go to first column.   I notice that
last workable patch for ix/386 is 40 and I could not locate rn with
batchlevel 40.   I don't have ftp account at all and I am really to 
download file using TB.    If you success with patchlevel 44, can you
send me patchfix for ix/386 via mail.
 
Thank you for your time.  Now I am using Xenix rn and this works fine
except for broken followup command and I hope to get real 386/ix rn
too.
