The system is a ibm ps/2 model 80 and it has and esdi drive in place, I'm trying to add another. I go through sco's /etc/mkdev hd procedure which works fine (and takes about 3 hours). I tell it I want three file systems, usr1, usr2, and news (660 meg drive), but when I try /etc/mkdev fs /dev/usr1 /usr1 I get an error message complaining about a bad mount address, and can not access /dev/usr1. What am I doing wrong? Frank Paterra paterra@cs.odu.edu -- Frank Paterra paterra@cs.odu.edu
