 A new software package called SCRUTINEER is now available for VAX/VMS from
 the EMBL File Server.

 This program was developed by Peter Sibbald and Pat Argos at EMBL. It allows
 very fast and flexible searching of protein databases. Different algorithms
 for searching are provided by the program.

 The package comes complete with Pascal source, manual and on-line help.

 Due to its size it had to be split in three parts. To get the complete
 package send a mail file to NETSERV@EMBL.BITNET containing the lines

 GET VAX_SOFTWARE:SCRUTINE.UAA
 GET VAX_SOFTWARE:SCRUTINE.UAB
 GET VAX_SOFTWARE:SCRUTINE.UAC

 If you are new to the EMBL File Server you should ask for introductory help
 by sending the commands
