Miya) Organization: NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA Lines: 20 A simple request: (you do read simple requests don't you?) 1) If you are posting a follow up, make an effort to Edit the SUBJECT: line. Does the subject correspond to your comments or are you taking a new tangent? This isn't a request (no please); it's good sense. Just telling to avoid making you look silly. Separate the wheat from the chaff. Which are you? 2) Have you thought about mail rather than a follow up? A good conversation is better than wading thru endless follow-ups. 3) Can you limit the distribution? (ba,ca,usa,na) Date postings? 4) Having you thought about more conventional media: library, telephone note those stupid phone or talk commands), writting a letter? 5) Edit out all irrelevant parts of the original message. (You don't really want to see the other guy's signature again do you?). Freq: 1/M
