Perhaps the issue should be called to a vote.  Similiar postings are now
being used in a number of other groups with some success.  For a number
of months I made a regular posting to misc.jobs which seemed to keep the
flame fests to a very low number.  Perhaps a monthly reminder that
RISC v. CISC [ and now new WISC! ] wars are purely religious would keep
signal to noise ratio just a tad better.
