 I am looking for source for a sort program that will sort using the
 harddrive if necessary and that will sort in binary lexical order. I do have
 source to several sort programs but none satisfy those requirements.

 The output should look as follows


 a
 a b
 abc
 abc d
 abcd 

 Extend this for all characters 0-255.

 The file I wish to sort is ~1M. So something that only sorts in
 memory will not do.

 If anyone is curious it is for MOKE, my Japanese editor for the PC. The 
 hiragana to kanji dictionaries from Wnn are quite big. (MOKE 1.1b is 
 available via anonymous ftp from 128.104.30.31.)
