Galligher) Organization: Telxon Corporation, Akron Ohio (NNTP with a :-) Lines: 25 I missed some of the postings for ms_sh v1.5 in c.b.i.p, so I grabbed the source and compiled it myself. BIG MISTAKE! I don't know if it was my compile, or if there is something else wrong, but whenever I run it the cursor does some really crazy things on me. After I type in the first character of a command, it then moves the cursor to the second (or third, I can't remember which) line on the screen. The next characters come out somewhere in the first two/three lines. This is totally unacceptable (obviously). Can someone give me a clue as to where the problem lies? I'm running MS-DOS 3.30 on an 80386 with 640K 3072K extended. By the way, even if I swap to whatever, it doesn't help. I don't think it has anything to do with the shell, per se, (ie: options I can change on the fly); I believe it has something to do with either (1) the way it was compiled, or (2) the way I am trying to use it. I have a Hercules Monochrome card. Any help whatsoever would be GREATLY appreciated! -- Gordon. Gordon C.
