Paradox is indeed quite slow, especially loading time (as are many Borland applications...Quattro Pro, anyone?? :-> ). I once tried to put paradox and a 700+ record database into a RAMDISK to speed things up a bit, but the database file became so corrupt that not even TUTILITY could fix it up!!! Anyone have a clue as to why this happens? Also, could someone tell me about the magazine Data Base Advisor mentioned in a previous posting? Is it worth the subscription price? What kinds of things does it cover? How do I subscribe? I cant find a copy at any of the bookstores/dealers in town.
