Does anyone have any strong recommendations as to what sort of ethernet
board I should buy for a 386 laptop network monitor?  So far, I've heard
about a board that TRW makes that will supposedly buffer up to 1100 small
packets in case the host processor can't grab them fast enough.  I've
heard very good things about the Western Digital WD8003E board.  What
about the WD8013E board?  This is supposedly the 16-bit-bus version.
I am bascially looking for a well known board that will drop very few
packets. (hopefully none)  If you know any good PD ethernet monitoring
software, please let me know also.
