So far, I've heard about a board that TRW makes that will supposedly buffer up to 1100 small packets in case the host processor can't grab them fast enough. I've heard very good things about the Western Digital WD8003E board. What about the WD8013E board? This is supposedly the 16-bit-bus version. I am bascially looking for a well known board that will drop very few packets. (hopefully none) If you know any good PD ethernet monitoring software, please let me know also.
