If I call uunet on their 800- number, I see the symptoms you describe. If I call direct, things work swimmingly. The folks at uunet have told me various things, the most believable being that they are hearing other reports of this trouble on their 800- dialups. They told me that they were suspecting Sprint, their 800- carrier. What's interesting is how poorly the Trailblazers behave in this situation. -- Jeff Stearns John Fluke Mfg. Co, Inc.
