If anyone has built their own modem and would be willing to share the schematic and other info for it, I would appreciate it. I would also be willing to pay for it. Plagiarism is not a factor here as this course emphasis production and not design. I will have to put the design onto our CAD/CAM system for production so legible schematics are needed. If you know of a design published in any magazines or kits available, these would also work. I am looking for a design for a 9600 bps (or 2400) external modem with it's own power supply contained in it and working led's providing status information. The connection would, of course, be through a RS-232 port using serial communications. Hayes compatible command set would be nice, but is not necessary.
