Have you (or he) considered performing a beta test, under a
suitable non-disclosure agreement?

It would be nice if each of you would consider the rights and
responsibilities required of signatories to such a mundane, BUSINESS
transaction, before casting aspersions on each other.  (or on
generalized classes of people you each accuse the other of
belonging to)
