I understand that the 25 bit mode is used when you need a bit more, and through my own experiments I have found that the generated images can be substantially more appeasing than their 24 bit equivalents. Is this a standard technique for improving ray traced images, or is this a new approach. Could someone please refer me to the definitive reference on 25 bit images. Thanking you in advance, Hugh.
