It is very much like the 3.x release but has a different directory setup. There are some bug fixex over the older versions but it does not seem to produce 386 code. We've been using the /2 flag for 286 code but I don't know of an equivalent for 386. I haven't seen MDA support, but I haven't looked too hard. I was disappointed that the linker didn't allow me to link the Halo 88 libraries. The old version didn't either but rumor had it that the new one would. I haven't tried it yet but the docs seem to say that you can use the linker option to prune out unused code in modules without breaking the debugger.
