Message-ID: <2747@ultb.isc.rit.edu> Date: 10 Apr 90 23:26:18 GMT Reply-To: jjw7384@ultb.isc.rit.edu (Jeff Wasilko) Organization: none to speak of Lines: 13 I've heard rumors about a new Linotronic RIP, but only heard a few things. I've heard it referred to as the 'RIP 30', so I'm assuming that its the first Lino RIP running on the 68030. The only other info I heard was that it does the standard Lino 'Contone' test in around 3 minutes, as compared to 14:34 for the RIP 4 (appletalk) or 7:20 (ethernet). Any other info/rumors would be appreciated... -- | RIT VAX/VMS Systems: | Jeff Wasilko | RIT Ultrix Systems: | |BITNET: jjw7384@ritvax+----------------------+INET:jjw7384@ultb.isc.rit.edu| |UUCP: {psuvax1, mcvax}!ritvax.bitnet!JJW7384 +___UUCP:jjw7384@ultb.UUCP____+ |INTERNET: jjw7384@isc.rit.edu |'claimer: No one cares. |
