After a year of flawless operation from my HP DeskJet I have a bizzare problem. I recently purchased a new print cartridge out of running out of ink in my old one. I installed the new cartridge. It printed fine for several days, I printed maybe 70 pages total, then it died. It's death was nearly identical to the manner in which they die when they run out of ink; it fizzled out in the middle of a line, you could see it fade then dissapear. So, I got another cartridge, from another place even...same exact events. The cartridge was fine for several days, then, kaput. I *know* these are not out of ink, I usually get 300-500 pages from a cart, and I can feel by weight that they are full. I did try spinning the cart about to drive ink down into the bottom by centripidal force, and indeed I was able to print about an eigth of a page before it died once more. I've tried priming many times, I have done everything the book says. I have tried reaching HP customer support have have been getting a busy all day, so I ask for advice. Please MAIL replys as I do not read this group normally. Thankyou -- Paul Deisinger "Me wa kuchi hodo ni mono o ii" "Bushi wa kuwanedo takayooji" mamba@csd4.csd.uwm.edu<-- easy to reach and read every day.
