Keywords: EtherTalk routing phase II capacity Message-ID: <676@sunfs3.camex.uucp> Date: 5 Apr 90 16:23:10 GMT Reply-To: kent@camex.com (Kent Borg) Organization: Camex, Inc., Boston, Mass USA Lines: 18 Has anybody out there built any big Phase II networks yet? How many EtherTalk nodes did you put on a single Ethernet? What were they doing? How was performance? Did you use any EtherTalk-to-EtherTalk routers? How? Which? Did they work well? What I am looking for is an intuitive sense of when EtherTalk-to- EtherTalk routing is necessary. I think I have a pretty good sense for the capacity of LocalTalk, but nearly none for EtherTalk. I would love to hear some stories. Thanks. -- Kent Borg internet: kent@camex.com MacNet: kentborg H:(617) 776-6899 W:(617) 426-3577 "So simple minded.
