I tried, but even though the necessary include files exist on the
DECStation 3100 I am using, uab failed to work, outputing the following:

# /usr/site/etc/uab -D 10

uab: 18:00:15 04/05/90  Couldn't establish the port
uab: 18:00:15 04/05/90  NO CONNECTED PORTS, ABORTING

Note that my kernel configuration file includes:

options		DLI
pseudo-device	dli
