If you add "route add default ec0 [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]" to your
autoexec.net, where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your gateway address, ka9q will
send packets for which it does not have a specific route to this ip
address.

I too am interested in VT102 capability for ka9q.  Please let me know if
you find anything out.
