If you were building a client-server application between a PC
running under Novell or LAN Manager and an IBM mainframe, and if
you were using a programming API that mapped equally well to both
TCP/IP and LU 6.2, then which would be the transport of choice:
TCP/IP or LU 6.2?  I've heard a number of reports that performance
in client-server apps using LU 6.2 is pretty ugly, but I have no
data to prove that TCP/IP would be any better.  Anyone with
experience or ideas on this?
