Recently from a ftp server in europe I got a Public Domain ksh.
It is written by Eric Gisin and includes probably some
changes by other people. Its version number is "PD alpha Rev. 4.0 10.feb.89".
I have the program running on SUN under SUN OS 3.5 and on a VAX 11/780
under 4.3 BSD.
I unearthed a few bugs so far:
- in certain directories "let 2 * 3" results in a core dump
- key bindings are limited a maximum of 2 characters
- set ignoreeof, set +o ignoreeof ... is without effect

Before I start hacking the program:
Does anyone have a newer version of this program or a replacement for it?
