Keywords: Speaker, Tandy 1000 Message-ID: <9531@mentor.cc.purdue.edu> Date: 11 Apr 90 19:03:05 GMT Followup-To: poster Organization: Purdue University Lines: 22 I have an original Tandy 1000 and would like to be able to turn of the speaker. I have tried a couple of memory resident programs but they do not stop the ^G from going to the speaker. I do a lot of late night programming hooked up to the University computers in my room and the beeping from 'vi' angers my roommate when he is trying to sleep. I feel really bad about this and would like to stop the beeping. BTW, I use Kermit V2.31 when connecting to the system. Thanks in advance, Joe +---------------------------------+---------------------------------------+ | Joseph J Nuspl Jr | Shreve Hall | | slw@mentor.cc.purdue.edu | Purdue University | +---------------------------------+ West Lafayette, IN 47906 | | "When in doubt, dump the core." | (317) 495 - 5376 | +---------------------------------+---------------------------------------+
