Near as I can tell, it uses the new 24-bit RGB file format, and I have used it to convert large GIFs into Dynamic HiRes shots. The process is a little cumbersome. Not long ago, someone posted that the shareware program RGBExchange would RSN handle GIFs and NewTek dynamic formats. I think it was the author. (I don't know what FTP *is*, let alone have access to it, so I can't help you find these goodies, unless you're in Jersey... correction: try ShareWare HQ BBS in Detroit, 1-313-473-2020.
