Lines: 27 I am having some difficulty hooking up a new Princeton Ultrasync to an Amiga 500 so I was wondering if anyone out there knows the proper way to hook it up. The cable I got from Redmond didn't work at all, the monitor wouldn't sync at all. That cable used the composite sync but had the monitor's horizontal sync connected to ground. I made another cable that did not ground the monitor's horizontal sync (left it unconnected). This new cable works for about 10 minutes and then the monitor starts to lose sync again (starting at the bottom of the screen). Now one or more of the following must be true: - The amiga is not working (the color/rgb out has never been tried on this computer and unfortunately I dont have other computers/monitors to try a swap comparison) - the cable is still wrong - the monitor has some strange thermal problem Have to cut this short, the sync is going again, Any ideas on what is going wrong here? AND in particular - How should the cable be wired???? S. Marsella
