This bug (which is actually caused during 'travel' mode) is very easy to deal with. Just press the down arrow key once, and all is well. Believe me, I know. I've spent too many hours already playing this incredibly addictive game. < The problem: < < I don't seem to be able to get my spellcasters to reliably throw healing < spells onto other characters, except when actually in combat. After < combat, right clicking on the receiving character casts the spell, but < it never hits. I've tried many positions for the characters. Is there < something I'm missing? It is difficult to cast the 'heal minor' spell. It seems that there is a fairly small area of each character that is 'correct' for the spell to work. However, once you learn 'heal major' it no longer matters. < Remember, Empire: The Commercial Kludge, was also a game of the year. < But then, so was Dungeon Master. < < (ps, if you've got any hints on my problems, about the interface, etc, < NOT spoilers, please write. The game is quite pretty, and I'd like to < like it.) < < Kitakaze Tatsu Raito Neil Gilmore I currently have about 20-25 hours invested in this game (I spent probably over 200 in the various travels in Dungeon Master), and I find that the more I play it, the more I like it. Yes, it does have a few 'bugs', 'quirks', and other minor 'annoyances', but I am willing to overlook these things, because the overall game is so engrossing. It can be somewhat boring in the beginning (go fight the monster, die restart, ad infinitum), but, once your characters start to succeed, and gain some experience, it gets MUCH better. There is a certain satisfaction in going up against a foe that so easily defeated you before, nad watching your party handily dispatch them (and find thousands of jade coins :-) ). BTW, to those who say "I don't want it if I can't install it on my hard disk" I say, you don't know what you're missing. I use my hard disk for REAL work :-). Seriously, I would rather not have most games on my hard disk, since space there is somewhat limited, and I need the room for things like LARGE Turbo Silver tracings, DPaint pics, Sound samples, ProWrite files, Postscript files, etc. -- Chris (Insert phrase here) Seaman | ___-/^\-___ qatul batlh. crs@cpsc6a.att.com | //__--\O/--__\\ qatul Huch. ...!att!cpsc6a!crs | // \\ qatul roj.
