   I am very interested in finding out about what autonomous and
semi-autonomous ai systems are available (or being worked on), and would
like any references to them that I can get (e-mail to 'erich@cs.pdx.edu').

   Autonomous ai system:  software and/or hardware that acts mostly
			  without explicit external direction.

   Semi-autonomous ai system: software and/or hardware that can act
			  without external direction (i.e. when given
			  a goal, for instance, it can come to conclusions
			  or do something not explicitly asked)

   I will post a summary, if indicated.
