Um, how about multi-file capability, mouse support, an ARexx interface, and
extended (ex) commands?  These, and more, are part of my vi emulator for Uedit.
I'm currently working on version 2, and hope to go into beta test in a few
weeks.  (Yes, I know version 1.3 was a long time ago--patience...)
