F-16 Falcon - arguably the best combat flight simulator available for a host of machines (IBM compatibles, Atari ST, Amiga), Falcon's price is worth both the manual and the support. F-18 Interceptor - Not entirely realistic nor responsive, Interceptor was the first combat simulator available for the Amiga. Its lack of realism and poor response (for example, the simulation rolls s-l-o-w-l-y) do not diminish the enjoyment of the scenarios. On the plus side, the sound is probably the best of all simulators listed. Jet - Not realistic in flight characteristics, Jet (by subLOGIC) was the first flight "shoot-em-up" available. Unfortunately, Jet seemed more a port from the IBM compatibles than a program crafted especially for the Amiga. Thus, the sound is not impressive nor are the graphics. On the plus side, Jet takes advantage of the scenery disks available for its brother, FSII. Gunship - Realistic in flight but lacking in sound and graphics, Gunship is the better of the two helicopter simulations available. Strong in story line but weak in the seeming ported graphics and sound, Gunship is nonetheless recommended for its manual and its playability. Good luck and happy flying! -- // /// CIS: 73200,3117 \X/oel ///urray Usenet: a23@mindlink.UUCP
