But I have the same thing happened to me once. When I plug my digitizer and the color spliter with two power supplies. My amiga blow up and acted the same way as you described it. So I suspect that probably the ROM chip is blown and I took it to the dealer and have the ROM chip replace and now it worked fine. So, I suggest you tried to changed the ROM chip to see what happened.
