It seemed the card was(is) having problems with RF noise. Rerouting the drive cable to lay under my expansion cards instead of over cured most of the problems. It boots 90 percent of the time with no problems but when it doesn't here are some of the symptoms, one of the following will happen: 1. A Yellow screen after cold boot. 2. Hangs when the first CLI window opens. 3. AMouse fails to find process (and PCDisk fails also) 4. LoadWB will fail. I get a permanent ZZZZzzz cloud on the workbench screen. 5. Bridgeboard fails to find all of it's ram. It will usually find only 128k, or it will fail to find the expansion ram over 640K. 6. Bridgeboard fails to boot at all. Number 5 and 6 are probably the cause of number 3 With the addition of a VGA card the failer rate is 50%. I know it's not a problem with the way my software it set up because it DOES work WHEN it boots properly. I have seen several posts from people with the same problem as mine. My feeling is that Commodore knows about the problem but doesn't know what to do about it. I think they are being hush-hush about it and are hoping it will go away. If someone at Commodore could responed I would be very grateful. I don't mind getting it exchanged/fixed but I don't like being kept in the dark about such a common problem. BTW my hardware setup is: Amiga 2000 rev 6.2 2091 controler A2286 bridgeboard Chris Conrad cjc105@psuvm.bitnet
