Message-ID: <7648@latcs1.oz.au> Date: 11 Apr 90 03:24:06 GMT Followup-To: poster Organization: Comp Sci, La Trobe Uni, Australia Lines: 29 have recently downloaded cshell v4.01a from news (posted 3 or 4 weeks ago). I got it all set up on a bootable disc with lots of utilites and whatnot and have found using shell a pleasure. it is only when i type info at the shell prompt that things worry me. info outputs something like: drive size blocks..... df0: 838k ........ df1: 838k ...... RAM: 1k.... the figure for ram: doesn't bother me (it is always correct) but the 838k is a worry. I thought amiga discs format to 1meg and give you about 880k not 838k, what then has happened to the 42k ("invisible") discrepancy... Does this mean that cshell users are limited to discs always being 95% full? (roughly...). Anyone, anyhelp, anytime... mail me on : barton@latcs1.oz.au or post a reply please. .db.
