Does anyone know what the maximum sustained serial output rate is for the PAULA chip w/o start and stop bits? (I need to output a serial data stream that is *continuous* ie: has no start or stop bits, only periodic synch words.)... hmmm. Btw: just looked in the hardware manual at the description of the output register and it seems to enforce one start bit.
