My TOS 1.4 is in the mail, so I decided to get Gemini 1.1 and test it out. Gemini.prg won't run, but mupfel and venus work independently, so... if you put all the venus and mupfel files into one directory... (I put them in C:\Gemini), and you set mupfel.mup to run venus.prg, you gen get a working version of the desktop. I haven't noticed any bugs yet (about 4 hours of fooling around) except for the same thing that happens in NeoDesk to WERCS... I assume it has to do with the autoboot.prg (which runs a GEM app). I've tried the one that uses a .INF in the root directory and one which saves the filename in itself (mkboot?), and they both cause WERCS to crash. If I take it out, I can run WERCS... any ideas? (Yeah, wait for TOS 1.4). P.S. Are FATSPEED and PINHEAD incompatible when run in the opposite order? (i.e. PINHEAD then FATSPEED) -- Greg
